摘要： An embodiment of the present disclosure provides a battery control device of a battery system including at least one battery module, including: a storage device configured to store a safety limit range for a parameter related to a state of the at least one battery module and a threshold setting value for the parameter; a communication device configured to communicate with a test device; and a controller configured to operate a protection function of the battery system based on the threshold setting value, to change the threshold setting value based on a change value received from the test device if a change of the threshold setting value is requested, and to limit the change of the threshold setting value if the change value is out of the safety limit range.

摘要： A method for detecting thermal runaway of a battery pack including at least one battery module in a master battery management system (BMS) is provided. The method for detecting thermal runaway includes: detecting a communication error with at least one slave BMS that detects information on the at least one battery module; if a communication error with the at least one BMS is detected, obtaining temperature of a master board from a temperature sensor located on the master board in which the master BMS is installed; and detecting thermal runaway of the battery pack using the temperature of the master board.

摘要： An abnormal cell detection method of a battery pack including a plurality of cells according to the present disclosure includes: obtaining a first discharge rate for each cell during a first rest period in a state where cell balancing is allowed; prohibiting the cell balancing of the plurality of cells when a cell having the first discharge rate greater than or equal to a first threshold value is detected; obtaining a second discharge rate during a second rest period for each cell in a state where the cell balancing is prohibited; and detecting a cell having a second discharge rate greater than or equal to a second threshold value among the plurality of cells as an abnormal cell.
