摘要： A hydrodynamic energy generating assembly is provided comprising at least two hydrodynamic energy-generating devices. Each device comprises a reservoir bounded by a wall with a channel through the wall connecting the reservoir to the exterior environment. The channel is provide with a valve system which can be controlled to allow the flow of water through the channel into and out of the reservoir. A turbine rotor is disposed in the channel and coupled to a generator for producing electrical energy in response to rotation of the turbine rotor by the water. The turbine rotor is rotatably disposed about a substantially vertical axis.
