摘要： The object of the invention is to provide an alternative method for durability testing of an engine block. The engine block comprises cylindrical cavities, which cylinder cavities are separated from each other by intermediate walls, each intermediate wall comprising a bolt hole. The method comprises the step of: removing a test specimen from an area of the intermediate wall of the engine block, such that the test specimen comprises the bolt hole.
