摘要： The aim of the invention is to reduce the energy required for melting in a unit provided with cooled walls. According to the invention, a method is provided for melting inorganic materials in a skull crucible, wherein the temperature of at least one area of the melt is selected in such a way that it ranges from Teff -20 % to Teff +20 %. The temperature Teff is defined by the temperature at which energy consumption per weight unit of melt is at a minimum. The through-put rate is selected in such a way that it is adapted to the required residence time.
