摘要: A store surveillance system, a warning device, a store surveillance system control method, and a program enable easily detecting fraudulent activity in a retail store, supermarket, or other type of store. A store management server 5 has a pattern storage unit T that stores occurrence patterns of specific events that occur in a store; a POS terminal 1 that executes a product transaction process; a employee surveillance camera 3 that monitors component factors of the occurrence patterns; and a card reader 4. When the POS terminal 1 executes a predetermined exception process, the store management server 5 issues a warning conditionally upon whether event occurrence conditions detected by the employee surveillance camera 3 and card reader 4 match a fraudulence pattern stored as an occurrence pattern, or do not match a normal pattern stored as an occurrence pattern.

摘要: A test pattern P3 longer than a length Ld corresponding to a circumferential length of a developing roller (44) is formed along a moving direction of a photosensitive member (22) (or developing roller). The developing roller (44) transports a great quantity of toner on its surface in a first revolution thereof and hence, the test pattern has a high density. When the residual toner runs low, the toner transport quantity is decreased in the subsequent revolution, so that the test pattern P3 is decreased in the density at its portion beyond the length Ld from its head. If a density difference is observed at place corresponding to a boundary between image portions formed in the first revolution and the second revolution, it is concluded that image quality is degraded due to the shortage of residual toner.

摘要: An input offset voltage (41) is applied to the output side of an irradiation quantity monitoring light receiving element (4), so that a light emitting element (1) remains turned off unless a light quantity control signal (S1c) exceeds a predetermined signal level. Prior to irradiation of light upon an intermediate transfer belt (141) and measurement of a toner quantity, a light quantity control signal below the predetermined signal level is supplied to an irradiation quantity adjusting unit (5) and the light emitting element (1) is turned off without fail. A memory (62) stores, as a dark output voltage, an output voltage (Vp, Vs) from a reflection quantity detecting unit (7) upon the turning off. In actual measurement of a toner quantity, with light irradiated upon the intermediate transfer belt (141), the dark output voltage is subtracted from the output voltage (Vp, Vs) outputted from the reflection quantity detecting unit (7), whereby an influence of the dark output voltage is eliminated.

摘要: A gradation patch image Ip used for determination of tone characteristics of an apparatus is progressively varied in the tone level thereof from the maximum tone level (level 255) to the minimum tone level (level 0). The gradation patch image is either a toner image continuously and consistently varied in the tone level thereof (Lotted TID-line) or a toner image having the tone levels varied stepwise at a smaller pitch than a width of a detection region of a patch sensor (solid TID-line). In density detection of such a gradation patch image Ip, toner image densities TID at portions on either sides in the detection region of the patch sensor cancel each other out by averaging and hence, only substantially the toner image density at the center of the detection region can be obtained.

摘要: A development bias calculation and an electrifying bias calculation are executed in this order. In the development bias calculation, a plurality of toner images are formed as first patch images (PI1) while changing the development bias. An optimal development bias, which is necessary to obtain the target density, is determined based on densities of the first patch images (PI1). In the electrifying bias calculation, toner images are formed as second patch images (PI2) while changing the electrifying bias with the development bias fixed to the optimal development bias. An optimal electrifying bias, which is necessary to obtain the target density, is determined based on densities of the second patch images (PI2).
