摘要: The invention provides a printing method of printing on a printing medium. The method includes: performing a halftone process with a dither matrix on image data that represents a tone value of each pixel making up an original image to determine a state of dot formation at each of print pixels of a print image that is to be formed on the printing medium, and generating dot data that represents the determined state of dot formation; and generating a print image by mutually combining each of dot groups that are formed at each of a plurality of pixel groups in a common print region according to the dot data, the plurality of pixel groups being assumed to have different physical conditions with respect to the dot formation. The dither matrix stores each threshold value such that a number of dots to be allocated to each of the plurality of dot groups is determined according to a dot formation order of each of the plurality of dot groups in the common print region in the halftone process.

摘要: To provide a device monitoring system, device monitoring program, and device monitoring method which can monitor device status quickly without increasing the load on device management servers or increasing network traffic.
Devices 10 connected to a network N are provided with a device monitoring function 20 for monitoring another device 10 and notifying a device management server 12 or a third device 10 of any abnormality. This eliminates the need for periodic interrogations of devices 10 by the device management server 12 and responses from the devices 10 unlike conventional schemes, and thus avoids increases in the load on the device management server 12 and in network traffic even if the number of devices 10 increases.

摘要: A device-sharing system easily shares devices in a network environment. When a device management server 100 receives a provide-service request, it identifies, based on service information, the network device 210 connected to the home gateway 200 and the network device 210 linked thereto to provide a service as service-related devices, and reads and returns service information for the service-related devices. When the gateway 200 receives the service information in reply to the provide-service request sent to the administration server 100, it displays a service list based on the received service information. When a service is selected from the displayed service list, the gateway relays communication between the device 210 connected to the gateway 200 and the identified service-related device based on the device-to-device communication information contained in the received service information for the selected service.
