    摘要: Techniques for monitoring a well clean-up process are disclosed. In one embodiment, a method includes routing a multiphase fluid having oil and water to a separator (18) of a well testing apparatus (10), separating the multiphase fluid into separate fluids via the separator, and routing the separated fluids away from the separator. The method also includes measuring flow rates of oil and water leaving the separator and determining individual flow rates of oil and water entering the separator as part of the multiphase fluid based on the measured flow rates of oil and water leaving the separator. Additional systems, methods, and devices are also disclosed.

    摘要: Disclosed herein is a method including determining at least one property of at least one interface phase between adjacent phases of a multi-phasic fluid during a first operating condition of a production system, such as a separator, and determining the at least one property of the at least one interface phase during a second operating condition of the production system different than the first operating condition. A separation model for the multi-phasic fluid is tuned as a function of a difference in the at least one property resulting from change from the first operating condition to the second operating condition. The separator can be used at hydrocarbon production well site for oil - water - gas multiphasic fluids exhibiting different phase layers such as gas, foam, sludge, emulsion, oil and water.

    摘要: A separator is described as provided with a gas/liquid separator vessel, a sight glass, and a carry-over meter. The sight glass is positioned on the exterior of the gas/liquid separator vessel, and has a first inlet and a second inlet in fluid communication with a separation chamber of the gas/liquid separator vessel. The sight glass is further provided with a first outlet in fluid communication with the first inlet, and a second outlet in fluid communication with the second inlet. The sight glass has a tube extending between the first inlet and the second inlet with at least a portion of the tube being transparent to light in a visible range of wavelengths. The carry-over meter is provided with a first densitometer connected to the first outlet of the sight glass via piping and a second densitometer connected to the second outlet of the sight glass via piping.
