In a fixing device 4 comprising a pressurization roll 42 being pressurized by the act of a pressurization lever 50 and a spring 52 against a heat roll 41, a release lever 53 is further mounted rotatably which comprises a cam 53a for rotating the pressurization lever 50 against the direction of force from the spring 52. On the release lever 53 is mounted a connecting pin 53b, and the connecting pin 53b is linked to and rotates the fixing lever 54 which is also mounted rotatably. The fixing lever 54 is forced toward the fixing direction by a spring 56, wherein a fixing piece 54c is inserted to a fixing slit 57b of a mounting stage 57 formed on the image forming device body for positioning thereto.
