摘要： Disclosed is a transfer apparatus having a photoconductor drum (4) for holding thereon an image formed by toner (T) charged with a prescribed polarity and a transfer roller (9) disposed opposite the photoconductor drum (4), in which paper (P) is fed to an area where the photoconductor drum (4) and the transfer roller (9) face each other and the toner image on the photoconductor drum (4) is transferred to the paper (P) by using a transfer electric field formed by the transfer roller, wherein the transfer roller (9) also serves as charge supply means for supplying a charge to the toner held on the photoconductor drum (4) and thereby substantially neutralizing the charge of the toner while retaining the prescribed polarity.

摘要： Enabling to perform the pressurization release and the fixture release simultaneously by one action when taking out the fixing device 4 from the image forming device for removing the jammed paper and the like. In a fixing device 4 comprising a pressurization roll 42 being pressurized by the act of a pressurization lever 50 and a spring 52 against a heat roll 41, a release lever 53 is further mounted rotatably which comprises a cam 53a for rotating the pressurization lever 50 against the direction of force from the spring 52. On the release lever 53 is mounted a connecting pin 53b, and the connecting pin 53b is linked to and rotates the fixing lever 54 which is also mounted rotatably. The fixing lever 54 is forced toward the fixing direction by a spring 56, wherein a fixing piece 54c is inserted to a fixing slit 57b of a mounting stage 57 formed on the image forming device body for positioning thereto. By rotating the release lever 53, the pressurization lever 50 could be rotated to the direction for releasing the pressure, and simultaneously, the fixing lever 54 is linked thereto and rotated to the direction for releasing the fixing piece 54c from the fixing slit 57b, thereby performing the pressurization release and fixture release by a single operation.

摘要： A toner image fixing device realizes a stabilized fixing process by smoothly controlling a surface temperature of its heating roller (50), preventing peeling-off of a layer (52) of the roller core (51). The toner image fixing device comprises a heating roller (50) consisting of a core (51) covered with a layer (52) of, e.g., a silicon rubber, a heat lamp (53) mounted in the heating roller (50) and a pressure roller (60) for pressing a sheet of paper (40) against the heating roller (50). The toner image fixing device is provided with a temperature sensor (54) for sensing a surface temperature of the heat roller (50) and for operating the heater lamp (53) at a preset ON-OFF ratio (e.g., 1:3) to elevate the heating roller surface temperature from a first preset value to a second preset value and thereafter to maintain it at the second preset temperature.
