摘要： An object is to provide a flatbed knitting machine for pile knitting and a pile knitting method, allowing pile knitting even when using a knitting needle without a locking hook for knitting yarn.
A capturing up-and-down means 10 drives a sinker 4 to raise the tip thereof upwards in a needle bed gap 1a, capture the ground yarn fed through a yarn feeder between a claw for ground yarn 4a and a claw for pile yarn 4b, and draw the ground yarn below the needle bed gap 1a. The solid lines show the sinker 4 when driven to capture the ground yarn. The dashed lines show the sinker 4 with the tip having retreated from between knitting needles 3. The two-dot chain lines show of the sinker 4 re-advancing to between the knitting needles 3, after the steps of separating the ground yarn 8a and the pile yarn 8b, and being driven so that the tip retreats from between the knitting needles 3 after the stitch formation by yarn drawing with a hook 3a. Pile knitting is performed even when using the knitting needles 3 without a locking hook for knitting yarn because the sinker 4 is capable of capturing and drawing the ground yarn 8a.-

摘要： There is provided a shoe upper that is less likely to stretch, and a method for knitting the shoe upper. A shoe upper (1) includes a linear anti-stretch section (4), knitted integrally to an instep cover section (3), for suppressing stretching of the instep cover section (3). The anti-stretch section (4) includes a pipe-form knitted fabric portion (40) configured with a knitting yarn including a heat fusible yarn, and an inserting knitting yarn (41) inserted inside the pipe-form knitted fabric portion (40) and fixed by tuck to stitches configuring the pipe-form knitted fabric portion (40). The pipe-form knitted fabric portion (40) is configured by an inner knitted fabric part (40i) and an outer knitted fabric part (40o) that overlap in a thickness direction of the instep cover section (3), a starting end in a wale direction of the inner knitted fabric part (40i) and a starting end in a wale direction of the outer knitted fabric part (40o) being joined, and a terminating end in the wale direction of the inner knitted fabric part (40i) and a terminating end in the wale direction of the outer knitted fabric part (40o) being joined to form a pipe shape.

摘要： It is an object of the present invention to provide a flatbed knitting machine and a stitch transferring method thereof in which stitch transferring failures such as stitch drop or split of a knitted loop are prevented from occurring and stable stitch transferring can be performed.
In a flatbed knitting machine 10, as shown in (a), a slider 7 of a compound needle 5 at a stitch receiving side is made to start to advance to a needle bed gap 2 before a tip of a hook 6a which is pulled in reaches to a knitted loop 8. As shown in (b), bottoms of tips of tongues 7b are advanced to the knitted loop 8. If the tongues 7b are advanced further, the bottoms of the tips of the tongues 7b are warped upward along the knitted loop 8 as shown in (c). The knitted loop 8 is pushed so as to sink to a needle shank 6b side beyond a downward trajectory 6c of the tip of the hook 6a. 摘要： An object is to provide a flatbed knitting machine capable of forming a not-too-long sinker loop in half gauge knitting, and preventing knitting yarn from being captured by a hook of an unused knitting needle.
A flatbed knitting machine 1 includes basic sinkers 5 and concave sinkers 6 arranged alternately. A stitch 7 in half gauge knitting includes a needle loop 7a formed by pull-in of a hook 3a and right and left sinker loops 7b adjacent to the needle loop 7a. The left-side sinker loop 7b is formed by the concave sinker 6 followed by the basic sinker 5. The right-side sinker loop 7b is formed directly by the basic sinker 5. In the stitch 7 formed in the half gauge knitting in the conventional manner by a flatbed knitting machine 9 corresponding to all needle knitting, each of the sinker loops 7b is formed by the two basic sinkers 5 in each of the both sides of the knitting needle 3. The flatbed knitting machine 1 is capable of forming the sinker loop 7b which is not longer than the one by the flatbed knitting machine 9. Each of the concave sinkers 6 serves as a wall which closes the hook 3a of the unused knitting needle 3 so as to prevent the knitting yarn from being captured.-

The insertion pieces (25) are firmly joined by an outer sole so that a temporarily retained state in which both are temporarily retained becomes a firmly joined state.
