Abstract:
Provided is a multilayer-structure circular knit fabric that has excellent cool touch sensation and moisture absorbability, has improved moisture dispersibility, is quick drying to avoid the feeling of dampness, is very comfortable with high cool touch sensation, can reduce stickiness and a cold feeling after sweating by causing the sweat to dry quickly, and has a pleasant texture. The multilayer-structure circular knit fabric according to the present invention is formed of a single circular knit having a layer structure with two or more layers, and is characterized in that: the multilayer-structure circular knit fabric has a section where a cellulose-based continuous fiber and a hydrophobic fiber form the same knit loop; the circular knit fabric contains 10-50 weight% of the cellulose-based continuous fiber; in a region within 0.13 mm toward the inside of the knit fabric from the skin-surface-layer surface that comes into contact with the human skin when used as clothing, the exposure percentage of the cellulose-based continuous fiber is 30% or higher; the cool touch sensation of the circular knit fabric in the skin surface layer is 100-200 W/m 2 /C°; and the time it takes for the moisture percentage of the circular knit fabric to reach 10% after dropping 0.3 cc of water onto the circular knit fabric is 50 minutes or shorter.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a garment with elastic inserts produced on circular machines of the type comprising elasticised sectors (3) and elasticised zones obtained by working in a further elastomeric yarn—in addition to the ground yarn and the reinforcing yarn normally used—and actually knitting the yarns so as to create machined portions, both horizontally and obliquely, which result in well-defined and demarcated zones which provide greater compression than the knitted stitches on the same row, thereby providing—within the elasticised sectors (3)—a greater compression value than outside the sector on the same row of knitted stitches. The elasticised sectors (3) are designed portions which create ornamental figures or banding with specific compression which can provide support, contribute to the stimulation of blood circulation, reduce fatigue, and render movement safer and more supported, when properly positioned and sized.
Abstract:
Abstract:
Clothing using a knitted fabric made from a composite thread of elastic fibers and synthetic fibers, wherein the elongation rates in the longitudinal and lateral directions as measured in accordance with the grab method of JIS-L-1096 are 160% or more and less than 250%, and the weight per unit area is 90 g/m 2 or more and less than 160 g/m 2 . The present invention provides clothing which is suitable for use by patients having skin inflammations, which has a comfortable texture using a knitted fabric that is light and has a high elongation rate, and which does not allow seepage of medicaments or infusions.
Abstract:
A method for knitting a shoe upper capable of forming a new stretch preventing section different from a conventional stretch preventing section, and a shoe upper obtained through such knitting method are provided. The shoe upper including a base knitted fabric portion (1F) that covers a foot of a wearer is knitted. In the knitting, a stretch preventing section (20) configured by a knitted fabric of a plain structure is knitted, where one end in a wale direction is connected to the base knitted fabric portion (1F) and another end in the wale direction is not connected to the base knitted fabric portion (1F). The stretch preventing section (20) in which one end is fixed and the other end is not fixed is curled to a tubular shape. The curled stretch preventing section (20) is thicker than the other portions, thus suppressing the stretch of the shoe upper.
Abstract:
A knitted component is formed of unitary knit construction and is configured to stretch. The knitted component includes a knit element that includes an auxetic portion configured to move between a first position and a second position as the knitted component stretches. The knitted component also includes a tensile strand formed of unitary knit construction with the knit element. The auxetic portion has an area when in the first position. The tensile strand engages the knit element proximate the auxetic portion. The tensile strand is configured to be manipulated for selectively changing the area of the auxetic portion to vary a stretch characteristic of the knitted component.
Abstract:
A therapeutic medical garment having a variable pressure profile along its length and includes a knitted tubular body and a knitted anti-slip portion formed proximate one end of the tubular body with an inner surface adapted for residing against a wearer's skin. The knitted anti-slip portion includes at least first and second high friction yarns simultaneously knitted to form a repeat having a raised surface texture on the inner surface of the anti-slip portion. One of the first and second high friction yarns is a low-elasticity yarn, and at least one of the first and second high-friction yarns is knitted to reside on and form the raised surface texture on the inner face of the anti-slip portion.
Abstract:
A knitted component formed of unitary knit construction includes a ridge structure and a channel structure. The ridge structure is biased to curl about a first axis in a first direction toward a compacted position. The channel structure is biased to curl about a second axis in a second direction toward a compacted position. The first direction is opposite the second direction. Courses of the ridge structure extend in the same direction as the first axis. Courses of the channel structure extend in the same direction as the second axis.
Abstract:
An article of footwear including a full monofilament upper is described. The full monofilament upper incorporates a knitted component including a monofilament knit element. The monofilament knit element is formed by knitting with a monofilament strand. The monofilament knit element is formed of unitary knit construction with the remaining portions of the knitted component, including peripheral portions that are knit using a natural or synthetic twisted fiber yarn. An inlaid tensile element can extend through the knitted component, including portions of the monofilament knit element. The monofilament knit element may be knitted with a monofilament strand according to a variety of knit structures. A fusible strand may be knit with the monofilament knit element. Upon heating, the fusible strand can combine and surround the monofilament strand within the monofilament knit element.
