    摘要: An organic resin-coated seamless can (10) with necked-in portion (13) is disclosed, which is produced by subjecting a resin-coated steel sheet to drawing-re-drawing for reducing thickness or to drawing-re-drawing-ironing for reducing thickness and which has a ratio of diameter of necked-in portion to diameter of body of 0.9 or less than that, said steel sheet being coated by 5- to 30-µm thick organic resin layer (16,17) on both surfaces of aluminum-killed, surface-treated steel sheet of 0.01 to 0.13 % by weight in total carbon amount and not more than 6.5 µm in average grain diameter having been subjected to over-aging after continuous annealing to adjust to not more than 10 ppm in solid-dissolved carbon amount. This can scarcely has rough surface or pinholes in the necked-in portion (13) even when the necked-in portion has been considerably compressed upon its formation.

    摘要: A thickness-reduced deep-draw-formed can (1) obtained by using, as the substrate, a cold-rolled steel plate (6) having a carbon content in the steel of 0.02 to 0.15% by weight, a manganese content in the steel of 0.2 to 1.0% by weight, a mean diameter of crystal grain of smaller than 6.0 µm, a tensile strength over a range of from 35 to 55 kg/mm², and a thickness of 0.17 to 0.30 mm in a step of subjecting an organic resin-coated structure of the surface-treated steel plate to the thickness-reducing deep-draw forming. This makes it possible to suppress the generation and accumulation of heat in the organic resin-coated steel plate to a level lower than the conventional levels. Therefore, the organic resin coating (8a,8b) is prevented from being peeled off or damaged and, as a result, the corrosion resistance can be markedly improved. Moreover, wrinkles can be effectively prevented from developing at the time of reducing the thickness, and the forming can be continuously carried out at a high speed without being substantially affected by the generation or accumulation of heat. It is further possible to easily carry out the post treatments such as necking, flanging and multi-beading after the forming. The thickness-reduced deep-draw-formed can (1) of the invention is effective particularly for preserving various kinds of juices, coffee, oolong tea and any other beverages after it is hermetically sealed, retort-sterilized and reduced for its internal pressure.
