摘要: The present teaching provides a power supply system capable of fully utilizing a plurality of batteries (30) having different performances. A power supply system disclosed here includes a main line (9), a plurality of sweep modules (20), and a controller (11). Each of the sweep modules includes a battery module (30) and an electric power circuit module (40). The electric power circuit module includes a switching device (41) for connecting a connection state between the battery modules and the main line between connection and disconnection. The controller performs sweep control of sequentially switching the battery module connected to the main line among the plurality of battery modules. During an input of electric power from outside, the controller disconnects the battery module whose SOC level satisfies a high SOC condition from the main line, and continues sweep control.

摘要: The present teaching provides a technique for detecting a failure in a switching device early in a power supply system including a plurality of sweep modules. A power supply system 1 disclosed here is connected to an electric power system through a distribution device. The power supply system includes a plurality of strings connected to the distribution device and a failure detector. The failure detector of the power supply system is configured to perform a first process of connecting at least one battery module to a main line to set a voltage detected by a string voltage detector at a voltage higher than a predetermined voltage in a state where a switch disconnects the distribution device and the main line, a second process of sending a disconnecting signal for disconnecting all the sweep modules from the main line, and a third process of determining whether the voltage detected by the string voltage detector is lower than the predetermined determination voltage or not after the second process.

摘要: A motor drive system includes a first interlock mechanism (160) configured to be activated in response to transition to an operable state of an interruption device (SP), to open an open/close device (190), a second interlock mechanism (210) configured to be activated in response to transition to an openable state of a case containing a power control unit (200), to open the open/close device (190), and a control device (350). The control device (350) is configured to perform, when the first interlock mechanism (160) is activated, a first process of opening the open/close device (190) after shutting down the power control unit (200), and to perform, when the second interlock mechanism (210) is activated, a second process of opening the open/close device (190) while driving the power control unit (200), instead of the first process, depending on a counter electromotive voltage generated by a motor (MG1).

摘要: When failure that renders an output from a voltage sensor (13) unusable is detected, a control device (30) sets a connection unit (40S) to a non-connected state and controls a voltage converter (12S) to be in a voltage non-conversion state, and causes a terminal on a side of the connection unit (40S) of the voltage converter (12S) to output a voltage of a positive electrode bus (PL2), thereby controlling the voltage of the positive electrode bus (PL2) based on an output from a voltage sensor (21S) instead of the output from the voltage sensor (13). A power supply apparatus for a vehicle capable of traveling in limp-home mode while maintaining travel performance to a maximum extent even in the event of failure of the sensor is thus provided.
