The base station may receive a first scheduling request for transmission of first information and a second scheduling request for transmission of second information, wherein the first scheduling request is associated with a first priority and the second scheduling request is associated with a second priority. The base station may prioritize scheduling of the transmission of the first information over scheduling of the transmission of the second information in response to the first priority being higher than the second priority. In this way, the scheduling by the base station may be more effective and efficient.
