Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a method used in a UE for performing a random access to a second base station and an associated UE. The UE has been in communications with a first base station. The method includes: obtaining from the first base station a subframe configuration for the UE, which indicates a first set of subframes assigned to communications between the UE and the first base station and a second set of subframes assigned to communications between the UE and the second base station; and performing the random access to the second base station based on the subframe configuration. The present disclosure also relates to a method used in a second base station for establishing a connection with a UE and an associated second base station.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a method used in a UE for transmitting a periodic signal to a first base station and an associated UE. The UE has been in communications with a first base station. The method includes: obtaining from the second base station a subframe configuration, which indicates a first set of subframes assigned to communications between the UE and the first base station and a second set of subframes assigned to communications between the UE and the second base station; and if a given uplink subframe, in which the periodic signal is to be transmitted to the first base station, is not in the first set of subframes, transmitting the periodic signal in a first available uplink subframe in the first set of subframes following the given uplink subframe. The present disclosure also relates to a method used in a first base station for transmitting a periodic signal/its periodic system information to a UE and an associated first base station; and a method used in a second base station for forwarding to a UE and an associated second base station.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method 20 in a base station 2 for determining a transmission rank. The base station 2 controls two or more transmit antenna ports 3a, 3b for supporting a multi-antenna transmission mode and for transmission of data on a channel for communication with a user equipment 4. The method 20 comprises receiving 21 a rank indicator from a user equipment 4, the rank indicator indicating the number of spatial multiplexing layers recommended by the user equipment 4, and determining 22 the transmission rank based on a channel imbalance factor CIF, wherein the channel imbalance factor CIF quantifies a difference in receive power of the two or more transmit antenna ports 3a, 3b. The invention also relates to a base station, methods in user equipment, user equipment, computer programs, and computer program products.

Abstract:
A method in a transmitting node in a wireless communication system for instructing a user terminal to perform uplink sounding is provided, said method comprising: generating an unlink grant in a downlink control information (DCI) for instructing the user terminal to transmit an uplink channel with only a reference signal; and transmitting the DCI with said uplink grant to the user terminal, and wherein said uplink grant is configured as a redundant state within the DCI. A method in a receiving node in a wireless communication system for performing uplink sounding is also provided.
Abstract:
The disclosure relates to a DRX method with TRM limitation. In one embodiment, the DRX method comprises steps of detecting a DRX wake sub-frame to be set for a first BS at least partially overlaps with a sub-frame allocated to a second BS, and removing a collision of the DRX wake sub-frame to the sub-frame allocated to the second BS without change to the sub-frame allocated to the second BS. There is also provided a user equipment using the DRX method. By removing the collision without change to the sub-frames allocated in accordance with TDM, the user equipment may work in the DRX mode well.
