    摘要: A rubber composition for use in a tire tread is disclosed. The rubber composition comprises, based on parts by weight per 100 parts by weight elastomer (phr):
    (A) 100 phr of conjugated diene-based elastomers comprising:
    (1) 20 to 80 phr of a first functionalized vinyl polybutadiene rubber having a Tg in a range of from -40°C to -10°C and an isomeric vinyl 1,2-content in a range of from 65 to 85 percent, wherein the first functionalized vinyl polybutadiene rubber contains functional groups reactive with hydroxyl groups on a silica reinforcement of the rubber composition;
    (2) 80 to 20 phr of a second functionalized vinyl polybutadiene rubber having a Tg in a range of from -108°C to -90°C and an isomeric vinyl 1,2-content in a range of from 0 to 15 percent, wherein the second functionalized low vinyl polybutadiene rubber contains functional groups reactive with hydroxyl groups on a silica reinforcement of the rubber composition;
    wherein the weight ratio of the second functionalized vinyl polybutadiene rubber to the first functionalized vinyl polybutadiene rubber is at least 1/1 or at least 1.5/1; and

    (B) 60 to 200 phr of a rubber reinforcing filler comprising a combination of silica, preferably precipitated silica or amorphous synthetic precipitated silica, and carbon black in a weight ratio of silica to carbon black of at least 9/1, together with a silica coupling agent having a moiety reactive with hydroxyl groups on the silica and another different moiety interactive with the diene-based elastomers.

    摘要: A rubber composition is disclosed comprising:
    (A) at least one conjugated diene-based elastomer, and
    (B) a filler reinforcement for said rubber composition comprising a combination of silica and carbon black,
    wherein at least one of said conjugated diene-based elastomers is an end-chain multi-functionalized elastomer comprising a diene-based elastomer end-chain functionalized with at least one multi-functional group comprising at least one of:
    (1) alkoxyorganosilane polysulfide of the general formula (I):

             (I)     (R 1 O) 3 -Si-R 2 -S x -R 2 -Si-(OR 1 ) 3

    wherein R 1 represents the same or different aliphatic hydrocarbon radicals containing from 1 to 12 carbon atoms, R 2 represents an aliphatic hydrocarbon containing from 1 to 8 carbon atoms and x represents a value of from 1 to and including 8; and
    (2) alkoxyorganosilane of the general formula (II):

             (II)     (R 1 O) 3 -Si-R 3

    wherein R 1 represents the same or different aliphatic hydrocarbon radicals containing from 1 to 12 carbon atoms, and R 3 represents an unsaturated hydrocarbon containing from 2 to 100 carbon atoms; and
    wherein said multi-functional groups are exclusive of alkoxyorganomercaptosilanes and alkoxyaminosilanes.
