摘要： A valve (28) for an aerosol dispenser (20). The valve (28) has a housing (30) as a chassis for other components of the valve (28). The housing (30) perimetrically joins the valve (28) to an outer container (22) of the aerosol dispenser (20). The housing (30) has a hole (32) with a moving valve stem (28S) to selectively dispense product (42), upon actuation. The housing (30), or portions thereof, may be crystallized, to provide strength and dimensional stability, to reduce leakage.

摘要： An aerosol dispenser (20), an outer container (22) for an aerosol dispenser (20) and a preform (60) for an outer container (22). The aerosol dispenser (20), outer container (22) and preform (60) each have a neck (24), which in turn has a crimp ring (24CR), to receive a valve cup (26) clinched thereto. The crimp ring (24CR) has slots which act as vents (25) therethrough. The vents (25) may be exposed to pressurized propellant (40) and product (42) due to deformation of the neck (24) during undue internal pressurization. The cross section of the vents (25) diverge in the downward direction to provide both flow area and for product (42) and propellant (40) and adequate area for the valve cup (26) to be corrugatedly clinched to the crimp ring (24CR).
