摘要： A system and method for session management of streaming media are provided. The system and method authenticate and validate any request for live or streaming video and manage the streaming session in a manner that continues to verify the validity of existing video streams with respect to new requests. The system and method provide for receiving a first request for a first video stream from a client (302), generating a token based on the first request and at least one parameter associated with the client (304), validating the token based on at least one predetermined rule associated with the client (306), and upon validation, providing the first video stream to the client (312). Upon receiving a subsequent second request for a second video stream (316), the system and method validate a second token based on the first video stream (306), terminate the first video stream and provide the second video stream to the client (310, 312).

摘要： A system and method for tracking a downloaded digital media file which employs reheader splicing of the digit media file for digital rights management (DRM) are provided. The system and method provide for receiving a request for a first file from a client (302), accessing the first file and a second file that is representative of the first file (304), applying data identifying the client into the second file (306), and combining the first and second file such that a size of the combined file is substantially the same size as the accessed first file (310), and downloading the combined first and second file to the client (312). The combining of the first and second file includes replacing corresponding object components of the first file with the objects components of the second file. The data identifying the client includes at least one of a transaction ID, merchant ID, user ID and order ID.
