Un contenu vidéo composé de séquences est élaboré et enrichi par les commandes appliquées à la caméra au moment du tournage. En vue de la reproduction, le contenu vidéo est découpé en séquences. Les commandes appliquées à la caméra sont extraites pour chaque séquence et permettent de calculer au moins un paramètre de commandes d'actuateurs haptiques associé à cette séquence. Au moment de la reproduction d'une séquence du contenu vidéo, au moins un paramètre de commandes ainsi calculé commande au moins un actuateur haptique. De cette façon, le spectateur perçoit des stimuli permettant d'enrichir sa perception du document vidéo au cours de la reproduction. Avantageusement, le lecteur apte à reproduire le contenu enrichi détermine un effet cinématographique pour un ensemble de séquences à partir des commandes appliquées à la caméra.
