Abstract: A light control unit includes a light control sheet and a buffer member. The light control sheet includes a pair of transparent conductive layers and a light control layer that is located between the pair of transparent conductive layers and that contains a liquid crystal composition. The light control sheet is bonded to a surface of a transparent plate having an edge that is held in a window frame. The buffer member has a harder and thicker portion than the light control sheet. The buffer member is located outside an edge of the light control sheet at the edge of the transparent plate on the surface.
