摘要： A method is provided of delivering a liquid detergent product, characterised by the steps of (i) allowing a predetermined volume of water to be dosed into a container (1), using a flow meter (3), a valve means (A) and, optionally, a water supply pump means; (ii) activating a pump means so as to deliver a liquid detergent product into said container until the container is completely filled, said filling operation being controlled by a level sensor (9) located on the container; (iii) delivering the content of the container. Using said method, viscous and caustic liquids can be accurately and safely dosed. Furthermore, a device is provided for carrying out said method.

摘要： A process is provided for dosing a detergent composition which is in the form of a liquid, paste or a gel, of which the viscosity increases when brought into contact with water, into a washing machine, whereby the detergent composition is transported from a container for holding the composition (10) to the washing machine (13) via a conduit and a valve, characterised in that (i) said valve is a dosing valve (12) including a product inlet (1), a product chamber (2), a product outlet (3) and a plunger (4), said plunger being electromagnetically or pneumatically actuated; and (ii) said valve is opened and closed by quick movement of the plunger in a direction along its axis away from respectively into the product outlet. When applying this process, the risk of such contact between detergent material and water that blockage could occur, was found to be effectively prevented. Furthermore, this process was found to be simple, safe and reliable, resulting in reduced installation cost with regard to the dosing system required.

摘要： A method is described for supplying management services from a service centre for a plurality of industrial cleaning processes or machines at remote sites and/or operated by different organisations. A local unit is provided at each process or machine, which is programmed to forward process/machine information with a process/machine identification to the service centre. The information received from the local units is processed in a service centre computer to obtain management reports on the process or operation of the machines. In a system for monitoring a plurality of industrial cleaning processes or machines operated by at least one organisation, each process or machine uses a local unit with a plurality of sensors for sensing operating parameters of the process or machine. A service centre computer operated by a service organisation at a location remote from the location(s) of the local units is programmed to make a connection to a local unit and to obtain operating parameter data from the local unit periodically.
