摘要： Gingivitis and related periodontal problems of the gingival tissues may be treated with a dental hygiene composition comprising an effective amount of a calcium sulfate compound such as calcium sulfate hemihydrate. Preferred compositions comprise mouthwashes and oral rinses containing about 5-90 % by weight of calcium sulfate hemihydrate, a liquid carrier such as water, a humectant and an alcohol.

摘要： Process of two crystallization stages for reducing radioactive contamination of phosphogypsum. In the process anhydrite crystals are obtained through dehydration of the radiation containing phosphogypsum in strong sulfuric acid; a portion of the anhydrite crystals containing the radioactive contamination is converted to substantially radiation free gypsum by crystallizing out on a large solids concentration of radiation free gypsum seed crystals; and coarse radiation free gypsum crystals are separated from small anhydrite crystal relics containing substantially all of the radioactive contamination.

摘要： Gypsum plaster and gypsum wallboard products can be made from fluoroanhydrite by contacting the fluoroanhydrite with a reactive silica selected from the group consisting essentially of Portland cement; perlite; calcium, sodium or potassium silicates; pyrogenic colloidal silica and diatomaceous earth; and after gradual conversion of the fluoroanhydrite to substantially pure fluorogypsum, the purified gypsum is processed in customary fashion in the industrial manufacturing of plaster products. The reactive silica may be added to the fluoroanhydrite during the gradual aging conversion in water to fluorogypsum; or it may be added during water calcination of the fluorogypsum to stucco; or to the gauging water during gypsum plaster or wallboard product formation from the fluorostucco.
