摘要:
A system for isolating faults in emergency systems, the system including first and second power lines, and one or more zones. Each zone has first and second zone line isolators, the first zone line isolator is connected between the first power line and the respective zone, and the second line isolator is connected between the second power line and the respective zone. Each first line isolator is configured to disconnect the zone from the first power line upon occurrence of a short circuit in the zone. Each second line isolator is configured to connect power from the second power line upon occurrence of an open circuit in the zone.

A method for verifying memory device integrity includes identifying at least one memory block corresponding to at least one memory location within a memory device. The memory block is associated with a prior checksum. It is determined whether the first memory block is designated read-only. A current checksum is calculated based at least in part on data within the memory block. When the first memory block is designated read-only, and the prior checksum represents expected data within the first memory block, it is determined whether the current checksum is equal to the prior checksum. When the current checksum is not equal to the prior checksum, a verification failure for the first memory block is indicated via a notification interface. A system for verifying memory device integrity is also disclosed.

A power system includes one or more notification circuits for powering notification devices, a backup power source, and a plurality of primary power supplies. The primary power supplies are configured to provide a combined current to the notification circuits. Each primary power supply regulates its output current to equal a highest output current provided by one of the primary power supplies so that each contributes approximately the same current to the load. The primary power supplies also include boost regulator circuits for boosting the voltage of the backup power supply.

An emergency system includes a plurality of emergency notification devices, a control device, and a system controller. The control device is capable of wirelessly communicating with the plurality of emergency notification devices. The system controller is capable of communicating with the plurality of emergency notification devices over a wire pair. The control device is also capable of communicating with the system controller over a communication path that includes a wireless communication path between the control device and the notification device and a wired communication path between the notification device and the system controller.

A system includes a capacitor, a plurality of notification devices connected in parallel with the capacitor, and a controller. The controller is capable of determining capacitance of the capacitor during charge-up of the capacitor, and the controller is capable of determining the wiring impedance of the emergency notification circuit during discharge of the capacitor.
摘要:
A system for controlling devices in an emergency system, the system having one or more emergency notification devices and a control device. The emergency notification devices have one or more outputs and are capable of using the one or more outputs for both emergency notification and non-emergency purposes. The control device is used for controlling the outputs of the emergency notification devices, and is wirelessly coupled to the emergency notification devices.
