The invention is characterised in that at least some of said poles have alternately, along a generally tangential direction, a magnet (22S) followed by its magnetic part (24a) and a magnet (22N) preceded by its magnetic part (24b). The invention is particularly applicable to motor vehicle alternators and AC starters.
