摘要： A process and device are disclosed for regulating the course of combustion in an internal combustion engine by ion stream measurement. For each combustion cycle in a combustion chamber (9) of the internal combustion engine (1), the ion stream signal occurring during this combustion cycle is analysed, and on the basis of only this ion stream signal analysed during this combustion cycle, a control signal is generated for regulating the course of combustion during a subsequent combustion cycle in the same combustion chamber (9), for example by adjusting the ignition angle.
