摘要： The present invention concerns a switch and crossing (1) for managing, at a running rail (2) mounted passing between two elements (3a, 3b) of a civil engineering structure separated by a gap, the relative movement of said two elements (3a, 3b), characterised in that it comprises: - a stiffener (4) arranged parallel to the rail (2) along a portion of the rail (2), the stiffener (4) having a length greater than the maximum relative distance of travel of the two elements (3a, 3b) of the civil engineering structure, - a reinforcement (5) providing the connection between the stiffener (4) and the rail (2), at a first element (3a) of the civil engineering structure, the rail (2) being mounted in such a way as to be able to slide axially on at least one sleeper (7a) by means of an attachment (8) that holds the rail (2), at the flange of same, stationary in terms of transverse and upward movement.
