摘要： A method whereby hemoglobin vesicles containing oxidized methemoglobin are reduced by light irradiation to thereby recover the oxygen-coordination ability; and an apparatus therefore. An amino acid, sugars, alcohols and flavins, each in an appropriate amount, are added to the internal aqueous phase of hemoglobin vesicles. When the hemoglobin is oxidized and thus the content of methemoglobin is increased, the vesicles are reduced by irradiating with light so that the ability to coordinate oxygen is recovered and the function is sustained.
