    摘要： The invention relates to a heating system (10), comprising a heating device (20), which has a flame detection system (61), a metering pump (30), which is fluidly connected to the heating device (20) such that fuel can be conveyed to the heating device (20) at least during one line filling process, and a control device (50) for controlling the heating device (20) and the metering pump (30). The aim of the invention is to reliably detect a filling state in the fluid lines of the heating system (10) without providing additional sensors or individually programming different variants of the heating system (10) into the control device (50). This is achieved because the control device (50) controls the metering pump (30) on the basis of the flame detection system (61) during the line filling process, and because the control device (50) terminates the line filling process by controlling the metering pump (30) after flame detection (61). The invention further relates to a method for automatic line filling in a heating system (10) which comprises a flame detection system (61) and which runs on fuel, involving the steps of: commencing a line filling process, controlling the heating system (10) such that heating or ignition attempts of the fuel occur during the line filling process, and terminating the line filling process if flames are detected (61).
