摘要： A steam generating system (10) for an appliance (2) includes a first tank (20) positioned at a first vertical position on the appliance (2), wherein the first tank (20) includes upper and lower water outlets (46, 48) that are vertically offset from one another. A second tank (22) is positioned at a second vertical position that is lower than the first vertical position of the first tank (20). The upper water outlet (46) is fluidically coupled to the second tank (22) by a first interconnecting member (50), and the lower water outlet (48) is fluidically coupled to the second tank (22) by a second interconnecting member (52, 54). A valve assembly (24) is disposed along the second interconnecting member (52, 54) and is operable between open and closed conditions to selectively provide access between the first tank (20) and the second tank (22) via the second interconnecting member (52, 54).
