    摘要： Liquid crystalline ethane derivatives prepared by the described method in order to form liquid crystalline compositions with known liquid crystalline compounds have a general formula 1 :
    wherein, when ring A indicates a 1,4-substituted benzene ring, then ring B indicates 1,4-substituted benzene ring or 1,4- trans substituted cyclohexane ring or 1,4-substituted bicyclo [2,2,2] octane ring or 2,5-substituted pyrimidine ring or 2,5- substituted 1,3-dioxane ring, or when ring B indicates a 1,4- substituted benzene ring, then A indicates 1,4-trans substituted cyclohexane ring or 1,4-substituted bicylo [2,2,2] octane ring or 2,5-substituted pyrimidine ring or 2,5-substituted 1,3-dioxane ring, and R indicates a normal alkyl chain C n H 2n-1 or a non-branched alkoxyl group C n H 2n+1 O or an alkylcarboxylic group C n H 2n+1 COO or an alkylcarbobato group C n H 2n+1 OCOO or a branched alkyl chain CH 3 -CH 2 -CH/CH 3 /-/ CH 2 / k ora vbranched alkoxy group CH 3 -CH 2 -CH/CH 3 /-/CH 2 / k -O, n is an integer number and assumes values from 1 to 12, k is an integer number and assumes a values from 1 to 3, and 1 and m assume values 1 or 0.
    Liquid crystalline compositions containing the compound of formula 1 are characterized by low viscosity and are applied displays.

    wherein R¹ is a normal or branched alkyl chain H 2n+1 C n - or a normal or branched alkoxy group H 2n+1 C n O-, n being an integer number from 1 to 12; X is a bridging group from the set: -COO-, -OCO-, -CH₂O-, -OCH₂-, -COCH₂-, -CHOHCH₂-, -CH=CH-,-CH₂CH₂-, -CHClCH₂-, -CHCNCH₂-, -CHBrCH₂-, -CHFCH₂-, -CHOCH₃CH₂-; Y is a terminal group from the set: -NO₂, -NH₂, -NCS, -Cl, -Br, -F; the cyclohexane rings are trans-1,4-disubstituted ones and the benzene rings are 1,4-disubstituted ones, and besides one of them may contain sometimes additionally a fluorine atom in position 2 or 3, k and l are integer numbers from the set: 0, 1, 2 fulfilling the condition that k+1=2 or 3; besides, if X denotes the -COO- or -OCO- group, then k+1 also may assume the value of 1 , their manufacture and liquid crystalline admixture containing them and use for electro-optical devices as dielectrics are described.
