摘要： A card connector, wherein projected parts (50) fitted into either of recessed parts (26) for contact pads (27) of a card (20) when the card (20) is installed are provided on a lower plate (31) of a connector housing and used as a stopper to prevent the card from being inserted when the card is inserted erroneously in reverse longitudinal direction, whereby connector side contact terminals are prevented from being deformed when the erroneous insertion of the card occurs.

摘要： A card connector comprising a connector housing (30) where formed are a pair of grooves (50a), (50b) for guiding the insertion/removal of first and second cards while supporting both sides of an upper body part (21) of the first thick card (20) and both sides of a card body (11) of the second thin card (10), and a sidewall (60) defining a space for housing therein a lower body part (23) of the first card (20) in the lower portion of the space defined by the pair of grooves (50a), (50b), whereby the elastic displacements of the contact terminals (40) are the same when either the first or second card is inserted.

摘要： A memory card includes: a main body of the memory card in which a notched section is formed; a semiconductor memory; and a write/nonwrite setting element for setting the write/nonwrite state of data in the semiconductor memory, the write/nonwrite setting element being slidably fitted in the notched section, wherein the main body of the memory card includes an upper main body and a lower main body; at least one of the upper main body and the lower main body has an elastic guide formed within the notched section; the write/nonwrite setting element slides along the elastic guide so as to set the write/nonwrite state of the data in the semiconductor memory; and the elastic guide has an engagement portion for engagedly stopping the write/nonwrite setting element so as to select the position of the write/nonwrite setting element with respect to the elastic guide.

摘要： A memory card comprises a memory card body having a cut portion therein, a semiconductor memory where data is at least writable, a terminal for electrical connecting the semiconductor memory to an external device provided on the memory card body, and write-enabling setter for setting the data writable in the semiconductor memory fitted in the cut portion slidably. The memory card body includes an upper body and a lower body. At least one of the upper and lower bodies has an elastic guide formed inside the cut portion. The write-enabling setter is slidably fitted in the elastic guide and held between the upper and lower bodies. Part of the setter covers part of the cut portion. The setter slides on the elastic guide to set the data writable in the semiconductor memory. The elastic guide has an engagement part for engaging the setter so as to select the position of the setter with respect to the elastic guide.

摘要： The connector housing 30 is formed with a pair of guide grooves 50a, 50b and a pair of side walls 60. The guide grooves 50a, 50b support the both side edges of the upper body portion 21 of the thick first card 20 and also the both side edges of the card body 11 of the thin second card 10 and guide these cards as they are inserted or extracted. The side walls 60 define, below a space between the paired guide grooves 50a, 50b, a space in which to accommodate the lower body portion 23 of the first card 20. This construction ensures that, whichever of the first and second cards is inserted, the elastic displacements of the contact terminals 40 of a card connector 1 remain the same, allowing the card to be electrically connected stably.
