摘要： A write protect switch (SW) which comprises a first metal piece (50) in the form of a fixed metal piece, and a second metal piece (40) having an abutting portion (46) for abutting against a recess (2) conesponding to one slide region of a write protect button (3), the abutting portion being positioned substantially at the middle between a contact (45) and a holder (42) or positioned at a location shifted toward the holder (42) from this middle position, wherein it is ensured that both metal pieces (40, 50) reliably and stably move toward and away from each other and contact each other under required pressure, so that the position of the write protect button is accurately and reliably detected.

摘要： A memory card comprises a memory card body having a cut portion therein, a semiconductor memory where data is at least writable, a terminal for electrical connecting the semiconductor memory to an external device provided on the memory card body, and write-enabling setter for setting the data writable in the semiconductor memory fitted in the cut portion slidably. The memory card body includes an upper body and a lower body. At least one of the upper and lower bodies has an elastic guide formed inside the cut portion. The write-enabling setter is slidably fitted in the elastic guide and held between the upper and lower bodies. Part of the setter covers part of the cut portion. The setter slides on the elastic guide to set the data writable in the semiconductor memory. The elastic guide has an engagement part for engaging the setter so as to select the position of the setter with respect to the elastic guide.

摘要： A memory card includes: a main body of the memory card in which a notched section is formed; a semiconductor memory; and a write/nonwrite setting element for setting the write/nonwrite state of data in the semiconductor memory, the write/nonwrite setting element being slidably fitted in the notched section, wherein the main body of the memory card includes an upper main body and a lower main body; at least one of the upper main body and the lower main body has an elastic guide formed within the notched section; the write/nonwrite setting element slides along the elastic guide so as to set the write/nonwrite state of the data in the semiconductor memory; and the elastic guide has an engagement portion for engagedly stopping the write/nonwrite setting element so as to select the position of the write/nonwrite setting element with respect to the elastic guide.
