    摘要: A deodorant porous polymer having excellent deodorant effects is provided. The deodorant porous polymer is in the shape of substantially uniform particulates or an aggregate thereof, and is obtained by the hydrolysis and polycondensation of at least one alkoxide selected from the group consisting of inorganic alkoxides and metal alkoxides through the use of a sol-gel method. Also provided is a deodorant fibrous material that includes a fibrous substrate and a deodorant porous polymer as mentioned above, which is combined with the fibrous substrate in the physically-combined state and/or the chemically-combined state.

The conjugated polymers are produced from metal alkoxides and silane coupling agents, or else from metal alkoxides, silane coupling agents, and organic monomers. The conjugated polymers may be fired to give another composite substrate of this invention. These composite substances have both inorganic and organic characteristics, thereby attaining the excellent heat-­stability, mechanical strength, resistance to chemicals, and workability.

    摘要: An aromatic composition comprises aromatic substances that are encapsulated and/or clathrated in a matrix of polymer. The polymer includes an inorganic polymer produced from metal alkoxides; a conjugated polymer produced from metal alkoxides and silane coupling agents; and a conjugated polymer produced from metal alkoxides, silane coupling agents, and organic monomers. The aromatic composition has slow-release characteristics, so that the aromatic substances are released over a long period of time. In a method for the production of the aromatic composition, a catalyst for sol-gel methods that comprises an acid or its anhydride and an organic base, and if necessary, irradiation with ultraviolet light and/or an electron beam are used for making the polymer.
