[Solution] An exemplary fuel cell system includes a housing including a first section in which a fuel cell module and a hydrogen flow passage are disposed and a second section which is adjacent to the first section and in which an auxiliary machine is disposed. When an operation of the fuel cell stack is to be stopped, pressure reduction control, in which the bleed valve is opened after the upstream-side block valve is closed, and then the downstream-side block valve is closed after a predetermined time has elapsed, is performed.
