The wearable therapeutic device also includes an alarm module coupled with the controller and configured to provide a notification to a subject based on the confidence level.

The processor is configured to re-execute the selection process following an event including at least one of the garment shifting on the torso, the garment being repositioned on the torso, and the garment being removed and returned to the torso of the patient, and monitor the selected at least two ECG signals for a cardiac arrhythmia.

The chest garment includes adjustable shoulder straps and a band to accommodate any body size or shape. One-sided assembly and coding of components facilitates use by a patient. A technique for sizing the support garment is also disclosed.
