The formed wire tie strap may include a body with one or more integrated rivets extending from the body. In some embodiments, the body may be substantially flat. The rivet may include a rivet head configured to engage a rivet hole of an opposing tie strap and a shoulder configured to engage a rivet hole of a connecting link, such as a drive link. Some embodiments of the formed wire tie strap may include a pair of integrated rivets extending from the body. Some embodiments may include a rivet hole disposed in the body of the formed wire tie strap.

The sharpened surface may define a reference line tangent to the sharpened surface at the upper end such that the reference line extends between the top plate and the sharpened surface, a sharpened width may be defined by a minimum distance between the reference line and the lower end of the sharpened surface, an opening width may be defined by a minimum distance between the reference line and the top surface of the depth gauge, and the sharpened width may be greater than the opening width. The involute shape of the cutting edge provides a radially expanding cutting edge as the blade is rotated. In some embodiments, the blade may include a plurality of cutting edges, such as two cutting edges.

摘要： A cutting chain bench grinder includes a self-centering vise that centers the cutting chain on an axis of rotation of the vise base. By centering the cutting chain to intersect the vise base axis of rotation, consistent top plate lengths and hook angles can be ground into left and right-hand cutters on a cutting chain. The vise base may also be adjusted horizontally in and out from the grinder base to align the vise base axis of rotation with the axis of rotation of the grinding wheel. The vise base may also be adjusted vertically relative to the vise base to vertically compensate for grinding wheel wear and to control grinding depth. A light tension spring may be used to bias the grinding head in both grinding and dressing positions. A down angle positioner may also be provided that rotates the cutting chain in the vise around a longitudinal centerline of the cutting chain.

摘要： A high speed harvester cutting chain has increased cutter height to provide an increased space for removal of the cut material from the saw kerf. The increased height of the cutter links eliminates the compacting of the material cut away by the cutter links between the saw chain and the base of the saw kerf. The foot of the cutter links are flared outward to contact the guide bar rails at a different position than the tie straps to increase the wear life of the guide bar and saw chain.
