摘要： In a slurry filtering apparatus having valves and valve seats of abrasion-resistant metal, a pump pressurizes and ejects a slurry containing hard particles at a high concentration. The flow of slurry is forced upon a filter surface in a direction oblique to it. Since the ejection of slurry causes cavitation and abrupt changes in velocity in the flow, shearing forces are created to scatter larger particles. This prevents filter-cake deposition while permitting parallel-flow filtration.
