The disclosure is related to a method and a system for removing background of a video. One of the objectives of the method and system is to extract a motion image object from a video. In the method, a plurality of frames is first retrieved from the video. An image processing approach is performed to recognize image features of every frame. A plurality of color blocks for every frame are obtained through the image processing scheme. A variance among the pixels in every color block of two continuous frames can be obtained by a comparison computation, so as to form a color block variance. The color block variance allows the system to determine a motion target object (211') as well as its image contour. The blocks excepting the blocks of the target object (211') are set as transparent blocks. Therefore the background relative to the target object (211') can be removed.

The disclosure is related to a method and a system for editing a scene in a three-dimensional space. The related technology allows a user to operate a smart device (101) to decide an editing position within a 3D space intuitively, in which the system acquires positioning signals within the 3D space by the device's sensor. A touch panel allows the user to edit the object (21) in the space. A software-implemented means is provided to record the movement and change of the object (21) in the space in addition to recording its position, size, rotary angle, or orientation. An animation within the 3D space is created. For playback, the movement and change of one or more objects (21) within a three-dimensional scene can be reproduced in response to the user's operation using the smart device (101) within the 3D space. The invention implements an intuitive way for editing the scene of the 3D space.

The disclosure is related to a method and a system for processing composited images (304). The method is operated in a computer. A software-enabled user interface is provided for a user to create a composited image (304) using a touch screen (10). In the beginning, in response to the user's manipulation, at least two images are retrieved from a database (71). A background image (101) and a foreground image are selected from the images. The user interface allows the user using a gesture over the background image (101) displayed on the touch screen (10) for generating a series of touch signals covering a specific area. The touch signals render a mask image (201). The mask is applied to the foreground image. The mask image (201) of the background image (101) covers the foreground image so as to create a new foreground image. The composited image (304) is created when the new foreground image is composited with the background image (101).
