摘要： Methods of bonding a printing plate on a base film and an apparatus therefor. The apparatus includes a pair of support mechanisms, one of which is horizontally located and the other of which is disposed at a right angle with the horizontal one. A strip of paper is reeved around the horizontal support mechanism, while a strip of film is reeved around the vertical one. A plotter is provided above and in conjunction with the horizontal support mechanism for marking the location on which to place a printing plate, on the paper reeved around the horizontal support mechanism. A half mirror is disposed in close proximity to both of said horizontal and vertical support mechanisms for projecting the location marked on the paper onto the film reeved around the vertical support mechanism. Using a lifter, the operator looks down the half mirror to view the location of a printing plate as projected onto the film, and bonds the printing plate to the base film in that projected location.

摘要： A glue applicator for a corrugator machine in which starch glue in a glue pan (32) is applied to ridge portions of a corrugated core sheet (10) by an applicator roll (28), the applicator comprising: a stock tank (50) holding a stock of starch glue; a glue heater (44) having upper and lower glue pooling chambers for holding starch glue supplied from the stock tank, a heat medium chamber defined between the upper and lower pooling chamber and holding a heat medium, a plurality of heat exchange pipes extending vertically through the heat medium chamber in contact with said heat medium and communicating at the upper and lower ends with the upper and lower pooling chambers to permit flow of the starch glue between the upper and lower pooling chambers, and a steam blow pipe (84) opening into a bottom portion of the heat medium chamberfor blowing steam thereinto; and a glue feed pipe (46) for feeding glue heated in the glue heater (44) to the glue pan (32).

摘要： An apparatus which alters the specifications of a corrugated fiberboard sheet produced from the double facer of a corrugating machine. A rotary shear cutter (1) is disposed downstream of slitter scoring units (2a, 2b) for scoring the corrugated fiberboard sheet. Since the corrugated fiberboard sheet is cut at the downstream side of the slitter scoring units (2a, 2b) when the specifications of the corrugated fiberboard sheet are altered, the end of the sheet thus cut is not engaged with the inlet of the slitter scoring units. It is not necessary to decelerate the operating speed of the corrugating machine even when altering the specifications of the corrugated fiberboard sheet.

摘要： Disclosed herein is a method and means for replacing upper and lower corrugated rolls in a single facer having a cassette frame for rotatably supporting the upper and lower rolls and a main frame to which the cassette frame is detachably connected. The method comprises the steps of suspending the cassette frame apart from a predetermined mounting position in the single facer to bring it away, keeping a spare cassette rotatably supporting other upper and lower rolls waiting in a suspended condition and fixing the spare cassette frame to the predetermined mounting position in the single facer in place of the cassette frame removed. Means for performing the method is disclosed which comprises a cassette frame (14) rotatably supporting the upper and lower rolls (22, 24); and a main frame carrying a pressure roll (18) and a gluing unit (20). The cassette frame (14) is detachably connected to the main frame.
