Also, the inverter control device (12) and the regenerative resistor (11) are affixed to the casing (2, 3, and 20), in close contact therewith, in parts of the casing separated from each other with the mechanism part (9) therebetween. The layout of the inverter control device (12), motor (7), regenerative resistor (11) and the like is thus taken into consideration while making it possible to suitably dissipate heat using the forced-cooling means (19), thereby providing a hoist (1) capable of frequent operation.
