Abstract:
The present invention provides a surface fastener in which necessary engaging strength is maintained for a long term, the surface fastener is flexible and has a favorable touch without prickly feeling even when male engaging elements formed of fibers are employed, and strange peeling noise is not generated. The surface fastener includes at least a large number of male engaging elements (2) planted on a foundation cloth (1) which is a woven or knitted fabric or a non-woven fabric and is formed of fibers, the surface fastener being engaged with and disengaged from a mating surface fastener. The foundation cloth (1) has groups each including a plurality of hook-shaped engaging elements (2a, 2a) having a small diameter and standing up from a common position of a face of the foundation cloth (1) with respective base end portions of the hook-shaped engaging elements (2a, 2a) being in adjacent to each other, and the base end portions of the plurality of hook-shaped engaging elements (2a, 2a) constituting the groups are bonded and integrated by a part of synthetic resin (3) as a backing agent which penetrates the woven or knitted foundation cloth (1).

Eine aus Garnen hergestellte Flächenware, insbesondere Flächenhaftverschlußteil als verkaufsfähiges Endprodukt mit einer aus Strukturgarnen aufgebauten Grundstruktur (10) und mit einer Vielzahl an Florelementen (12), die über die Grundstruktur (10) hervorstehen und die aus weiteren Strukturgarnen gebildet sind, ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass zumindest ein Teil der jeweils eingesetzten Strukturgarne für die Grundstruktur (10) und/oder für die Florelemente (12) jeweils aus einem Garnsystem (14) bestehen, das aus mindestens zwei einander zugehörigen und benachbarten Garnen (16,18) unterschiedlicher Art (24,26) ausgebildet ist.

The invention relates to a fabric which can attach to itself by use of hand pressure, and methods for its manufacture. The invention provides a fabric having at least part of its surface covered with small monofilament loops. The self-attaching fabric having at least part of its surface covered with small monofilament hooks which removably engage each other when the surface is pressed into contact with another similar surface to retain together the two portions of the fabric until they are separated by a peeling action.

Le dispositif de fixation (1) comprend au moins un système (3, 11, 12, 13, 14) fixé à la base (2, 10) qui empêche la fixation non voulue des éléments du type crochets sur les éléments du type boucles et qui est aussi grand que les éléments (4) du type crochets ou de préférence plus grand que ces éléments (4).

A hook-and-loop fastener comprising a base web (1), a multiplicity of hook elements (3) and loop elements (2) mounted on the base web (1) in rows and vertical lines. In each row, each hook element (3) adjoining a loop element (2) on each side thereof. The distribution ratio of the hook elements (3) to the total of the hook elements (3) and loop elements (2) is approximately 33 percent. Each loop element (2) is 1mm higher than each hook element (3). Each hook element (3) is made of thermoplastic monofilament of 400 through 700 denier.

The hook surface fastener (A) has hook fastener elements made of monofilaments on a surface of a base fabric. The loop surface fastener (B) has loop fastener elements made of multifilaments and capable of engaging with the hook fastener elements on a surface of a base fabric. The mixed surface fastener (C) has hook fastener elements made of monofilaments and loop fastener elements made of multifilaments on the same surface of a base fabric. The monofilaments are made from a polyethylene terephthalate-based polyester resin, and the multifilaments are made of a polybutylene terephthalate-based polyester resin.
