    摘要: The invention relates to a safety mechanism for beverage-making devices that extract or dissolve a beverage base material using a hot pressurized liquid. The pressure container of the beverage-making device comprises an inwardly directed crucible-shaped formation, into which the pressure-regulating mechanism is inserted from the outside and which is closed with a closure in a planar manner. The closure does not have any holes, but forms intermediate spaces with the pressure container that act as vapor drainage channels. The outlet of the gases on the beverage-making device is located almost invisibly at a transition of two parts.

    The method includes the steps of a user putting a coffee maker unit into operation, supplying potable water from a water tank (32) to a funnel (33) through a water pipe (36) and a water tube (37), and, at the same time with this, putting a heater (35a) in a heater tube (35) in contact with the water tube (37) into operation, to heat the potable water passing through the water tube (37), measuring a temperature of the heater periodically by using a temperature sensing unit (100) in the vicinity of the heater tube (35), calculating a rate of temperature change of the heater (35a) according to the temperature measured, and cutting off power supply to the heater (35a) if the rate of the temperature change of the heater (35a) is higher than a preset value.

    摘要: A brewing apparatus makes coffee by a drip method within a microwave oven. The brewing apparatus (10) includes a reservoir (14) for retaining a quantity of water for heating. The reservoir is positioned on and supported by a carafe (16). The carafe receives a quantity of brewed coffee therein. A basket (30) is positioned between the reservoir and the carafe for retaining coffee grounds. A U-shaped water transfer tube (40) is positioned within the reservoir having an inlet (48) adjacent to the bottom of the reservoir and an outlet (54) positioned externally of the reservoir. The application of microwave energy heats the water within the reservoir, initiating a pumping system that transfers the water from the reservoir (14) through the transfer tube (40). The water exhausted from the transfer tube is directed onto the coffee grounds within the basket (30). The brewed coffee, created by the contact between the heated water and the coffee grounds, passes from the basket into the carafe (16).
