摘要:
The present invention relates to RFID (radio frequency identification), more particularly to an RFID tag attached to a tooth and a system for using the same. The tooth-attached RFID tag of the present invention comprises a chip for storing the user's information, an antenna for transmitting the user information stored in the chip, a housing for fixing the chip and the antenna and a protective resin attached to a tooth for covering the housing, so that it may be protected from food or saliva. The semi-permanent tooth-attached RFID tag of the present invention offers an effective way of user identification.

摘要:
Method and apparatus for registering an object of known predetermined geometry to scanned three dimensional data such that the object's location may be verified. Such a known object may comprise a less than ideal three-dimensional (3-D) digital object such as a tooth, a dental appliance (e.g., as a tooth bracket model) or other like object, including portions thereof. Knowledge of such an object's location is generally helpful in planning orthodontic treatment, particularly where the location of the object needs to be determined or confirmed or where incomplete or poor scan data is obtained. Aspects of the present invention provide methods of effectively verifying dental appliance location and displaying appliance locations using a computer and three-dimensional models of teeth.
摘要:
A device and method for applying and retaining a unique data carrier to a tooth surface of an individual. The data carrier comprises a thin sheet of material having a data format unique to the individual. This data carrier is attached to the surface of the individual's tooth and is adapted for detection by a reader which can be operated by a third person. All phases of installation and detection of the carrier involve passive, noninvasive techniques which can be applied without regard to age and can be maintained as part of a permanent identification system. The system further comprises a central data bank which becomes a verification source for identifying information carried at the individual's tooth surface.

Methods and apparatus to form a biometric based information communication system are described. In some examples, the biometric based information communication system comprises biomedical devices with sensing means, wherein the sensing means produces a biometric result where the result may comprise results which are unique to the user and support identification. In other examples, biomedical devices which are embedded or otherwise connected to a user may have function specifically included to provide stored identification data unique to the user which may be communicated under specified conditions. A identification result may trigger a communication of a biometric based information communication message.

The invention relates to a method for finding and digitally evaluating illegal image material, wherein a data memory is searched for image material. According to the invention, image material that is found is classified as potentially illegal image material (pi) or as legal image material by means of a classification method on the basis of an image content that is presented. The image material graded as potentially illegal (pi) has the age of the persons shown determined, and potentially illegal image material (pi) which shows at least one person whose ascertained age (A) is below a prescribed age (vA) is graded as illegal image material. Biometric features of the persons shown in the illegal image material are detected and are compared with at least one database which contains biometric features. In the illegal image material, at least one further feature which it contains is detected and is compared with at least one appropriate database.
