    摘要: A binaural telepresence system includes two communication devices, and two sets of active noise reducing headphones having an active noisecancelling mode and an active hearthrough mode, coupled to the respective communication devices and configured to provide left and right feedforward microphone signals to the communication devices. The first communication device is configured to transmit the first left and right feedforward microphone signals to the second communication device. The second communication device is configured to provide the first left and right feedforward microphone signals to the second set of headphones. The second set of headphones are configured to activate their noisecancelling mode while filtering the first left and right feedforward microphone signals so that a user of the second set of headphones hears ambient noise from the environment of the first set of headphones, so that the user hears the ambient noise from the first set of headphones with ambient naturalness.

    摘要: An ear cup with a microphone apparatus including an inner cup portion, for forming a noise damping space, and an outer cup portion for forming a space for accommodating electronics and/or a current source. The inner cup portion and the outer cup portion are separated by a partition. The inner cup portion has a pocket and two opposingly located recesses in which a bracket for a microphone is disposed. Over the microphone, a windshield is provided, this protecting the microphone from being damaged and also damping wind noise. The windshield has an outer configuration that may be seen as a continuation of the outer cup portion, in order to prevent turbulence in the region of the windshield. The windshield is produced from a porous material, which is surrounded by a mounting frame having nap catches for engagement in snap catches.

    摘要: An earmuff assembly with a double-shell structure is disclosed for use with a sound-attenuating circumaural headset. The earmuff assembly comprises a cup-shaped outer shell mounted on a resilient outer sealing ring and a cup-shaped inner shell mounted on a resilient inner sealing ring. By means of the two sealing rings the outer and the inner shells are brought into abutment with the head surface around an ear of a wearer. Both shells are structurally rigid. The sound attenuation performance is maximized by isolating the inner shell from the outer shell. The two sealing rings are interconnected through a thin skin layer of soft compliant materials, which acts as a vibration isolating/decoupling means between the outer shell and the inner shell.
