摘要: The present invention discloses a medical device, comprising: an elongate tubular body formed of one or more woven filaments having a constrained configuration, the elongate tubular body having an expanded configuration with a proximal portion of the elongate tubular body expanded into a proximal retention member, a distal portion of the elongate tubular body expanded into a distal retention member, and a cylindrical saddle region extending between the proximal and distal retention members, wherein the proximal retention member, distal retention member, and cylindrical saddle region define an open interior passage configured to permit flow therethrough, and wherein an outer surface of the cylindrical saddle region includes at least one surface feature.

摘要: An anchor stent assembly to be used with a valve component includes a generally tubular frame having a first end and a second end, the frame defining a central passage and a central axis. A secondary passage is defined between n inner surface of the frame and an outer surface of an inner rib disposed closer to the central axis than the frame. An extension tube is disposed through the secondary passage. The extension tube includes an extension tube lumen having a first opening at a first end of the extension tube and a second opening at a second end of the extension tube.

摘要: A replacement mitral valve prosthesis includes a support structure and a valve body having three flexible leaflets. The support structure preferably includes an internal valve frame and an external sealing frame. The valve frame supports the flexible leaflets. The sealing frame is adapted to conform to the shape of the native mitral valve annulus. The sealing frame may be coupled to an inlet end of the valve frame, an outlet end of the valve frame, or both. A plurality of anchors are coupled to the outlet end of the valve frame. The anchors extend radially outwardly for placement behind native leaflets. The prosthesis preferably includes a skirt disposed along an exterior of the external sealing frame. The prosthesis is collapsible for delivery into the heart via a delivery catheter. The prosthesis is configured to self-expand for deployment in the heart when released from the delivery catheter.
