摘要: Prostheses and methods of making the same are provided. The prosthesis (10) has an internal branch configuration. A trough (50) or branch opening is at least partially defined by a trough wall (52) extending into a main lumen from a sidewall (25) of the prosthesis. The internal branch extends from the trough (50) within the main lumen towards one of the outflow end of the graft body (20) in an helical, retrograde arrangement. Other arrangements are described. The prosthesis (10) may include a scalloped fenestration (80) having a width larger than the trough (50). The trough (50) may be positioned along a tapered region (20B) of the prosthesis. The trough (50) and internal branch may be made from the same graft material. The trough (50) and internal branch, in addition to the main graft body, may be made from the same graft material.

摘要: A braided self-expandable endoluminal stent comprises a tubular grid formed by connection of a plurality of wave bends in the circumferential direction. Each of the wave bands comprises a plurality of crests and troughs of an elastic wire in the axial direction, and is respectively connected with another wave band. On two sides of each of the wave bands, there is a wave band abutted thereto side by side. There is at least one cross-linking point between every two wave bands abutted side by side. Each of the cross-linking points is formed by intersecting one trough on one of thewave bands abutted side by side with one corresponding crest on the other wave band, and at least one part of the cross-linking points are fixed cross-linking points. Each of the wave bands is further staggered and overlapped with at least another wave band, and a plurality of crossing points (12, 14, 22, 23) are formed between the wave bands which are staggered and overlapped with each other. Each of the wave bands, together with at least another wave band, forms a group of parallel wave bands. As the wave bands in this group are similar in wave shape and in parallel to each other, no cross-linking points or crossing points (12, 14, 22, 23) will be formed between the parallel wave bands.

Two through-holes and a slit extending between the two through-holes are provided in each of bilaterally symmetric locations near a top edge of left and right sides of an eye shield sheet configured of an elastic and transparent resin sheet. The eye shield sheet is obtained by forming an elastic rod into an approximate U-shape securable to the head of a wearer, and includes a curved section at each temple region of the wearer that curves inward and is configured to fit into the slit and the two through-holes. Attachment of the sheet to the frame is completed by the wearer first bending the entire sheet and positioning the sheet on the inner side of the frame, and then inserting the curved sections of the frame one side at a time into the sheet simply by pressing the curved section against the slit to open the slit and continue pressing until the frame fits into the two through-holes.
