Abstract: The present embodiments provide systems suitable for delivering a therapeutic agent to a target site. In some embodiments, the system comprises a container for holding the therapeutic agent, a pressure source, and a catheter in fluid communication with the container. In one embodiment, the system further comprises a first inlet tube disposed at least partially within the container, and a second inlet tube disposed at least partially within the container at a location different than the first inlet tube. Pressurized fluid from the pressure source flows into the container via each of the first inlet tube and the second inlet tube. In other embodiments, a plate is disposed with the container, wherein the plate is able to move vertically within the container during delivery of the therapeutic agent.

Abstract: A medical apparatus includes a base unit including a drive source therein, and a bendable unit that is to be detachably attached to the base unit. Abstract: A catheter assembly (1), an implant system, an implant delivery system and a method of use thereof. In the implant delivery system, an inner tube (120) is made of an elastic material, and an outer sheath tube (110) and a guidewire tube (130) are each made of a plastic material. A distal end portion of each of the outer sheath tube (110) and the guidewire tube (130) is shaped into a curved form to provide a curved channel for the inner tube (120). The inner tube (120) is elastically inserted through the curved channel. This dispenses with the need for bending control from an outer sheath tube control device (21) and an inner tube control device (22), reducing requirements and difficulties in designing them and thus resulting in cost savings. Moreover, it makes the implant delivery system more easily operable, safer and more reliable, with lower requirements on a surgical incision, and capable of delivering a stent through a curved access accurately to a designated site.

Abstract: A detachment mechanism and a delivery catheter are used to enable delivery and detachment of an implant (1). The detachment mechanism includes a detacher (10), a first control member (20) and a second control member (30). A distal end of the detacher (10) is configured for engagement of the implant (1) therewith. The detacher (10) defines a through hole (11). The first control member (20) and the second control member (30) are detachably engaged with or directly joined to each other. When distal ends of the first control member (20) and the second control member (30) are inserted through the through hole (11) and engaged with each other, the first control member (20) and the second control member (30) are locked against the detacher (10). When the first control member (20) is pulled and removed from the through hole (11), the first control member (20) and the second control member (30) are detached from the detacher (10). In this way, relocation of the detacher (10) is allowed, resulting in improved delivery accuracy.

Abstract: In some embodiments a PEG feeding device includes a tube sized to bridge a channel between a stomach and an outer abdominal surface; an internal bolster, and an external bolster. Optionally the bolsters are connected to the tube. The internal bolster may be sized to resist movement out of the stomach through the stoma. The external bolster may be sized to resist movement into the stoma from the outer abdominal surface. The external bolster may include an underside which extends from the tube in a radial direction between the external bolster and the outer abdominal surface. The underside of the outer bolster may contact the outer abdominal surface at a distance from an external opening of the stoma. Optionally the distance between the internal bolster and the external bolster is adjustable. Optionally an angle between one or both of the bolsters and the tube is adjustable.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices are provided that include a releasable mount device that may be utilized to couple an operative element, such as an ablation device, with a therapeutic or diagnostic device, such as an endoscope. The releasable mount device may include a tubular base. The tubular base may include a slot extending in a longitudinal direction between a distal end and a proximal end of the tubular base. The tubular base may be configured to radially expand whereby a slot width of the slot may increase from a first width to a second width in order to clamp the tubular base onto the therapeutic or diagnostic device. The tubular base may be configured without a slot, in some cases, with a diameter larger than the therapeutic or diagnostic device. The tubular base may include one or more gripping members. The releasable mount device may include a support member configured to couple with the operative element.
