    摘要: A landing pad with an inbuilt fire suppressor that includes at least one first interlocking unit. The interlocking unit includes a landing surface, wherein the landing surface includes openings distributed thereon; and at least one interlocking mechanism located along its periphery. In this configuration, fire suppression, and gas cutoff are effected simultaneously. Additionally to the above mentioned effects, the system further simultaneously injects CO2 or similar extinguishing gas instead of natural gas straight to the burner itself suffocating the fire at the source.

Des poutrelles en aluminium extrudé (20) placées sur une base (12, 14) supportent une plate-forme supérieure (50) sur laquelle repose l'hélicoptère. Les poutrelles de support présentent un espace entre la base et la plate-forme supérieure. Celle-ci est constituée par un treillis (50) qui permet au carburant de passer à travers lui. Les poutrelles de support soutiennent des dalles minces (54) constituées par de fines bandes espacées en matériau (55) conducteur de chaleur élevée au dessous de la plateforme supérieure. Les poutrelles de support soutiennent également des plaques de pont (58) placées au dessous et de façon espacée par rapport aux dalles minces. Le matériau des dalles minces effectue la conduction de la chaleur localisée provenant d'un point des dalles minces pour la transformer en une température inférieure plus régulière répartie généralement sur toute la surface des dalles minces. Les plaques de pont recueillent le carburant qui passe à travers les dalles minces et sont disposées en pente pour permettre au carburant de s'éloigner du pont par écoulement.
