By optimizing the sensing device of the smart magic cube, only two circuit boards are needed to sense rotation states in six directions, thereby changing a current technology that requires setting PCB boards and sensors in each direction of the smart magic cube. The smart magic cube has a simple structure and is easy to assemble, which may reduce production costs.

The invention relates to a magic cube having six magic-cube walls (3) made up of a total of at least 26 cube members (10) having rectangular, preferably square, cube-member walls (12), wherein a multiplicity of cube-member walls (12) have arranged on them lines (20) which, at least in the basic state of the magic cube (1), form closed geometrical surface areas. It is an object of the invention to provide a means of learning which has the largest possible number of forms of geometrical surface area and enhances concentration, logical thinking patterns, creativity and combinatory skills in a didactic and pedagogic manner. In order to achieve this object, the invention proposes a magic cube, of the type mentioned in the introduction, in which, upon each rotation of magic-cube planes (5), the lines (20) form new closed geometrical surface areas.

The six (6) A type pieces (30) of pyramidal shape, play rotating asymmetrically with regard to their antagonists, centered by pairs on the axes perpendicularly coordinated in the center of the toy, the twelve (12) B type pieces (20), of asymmetric shape, play translating asymmetrically with regard to the center of the toy and are initially ordered by pairs coordinated on three (3) pairs or parallel axes arranged: four (4) horizontal and two (2) vertical ones that are intercrossed eccentric and equidistant to the center of the toy, and the eight (8) C type pieces (10) play diagonally coordinated with regard to the center of the toy.
