Jeder stumpf zu befahrende Endabschnitt (66, 67) der Weiche (61) ist mit einem zungenförmigen, in einem Längsschlitz (31) der festen Zahnstange des betreffenden Endabschnitts (66, 67) in Längsrichtung verschiebbar angeordneten Betätigungselement (33) versehen, das eine nach oben ragende Nase (35) hat. Die Nase (35) steht in der äusseren Lage des Betätigungselements (33) über Zahnstange vor und ist in dessen inneren Lage auf das Niveau der Zahnstange versenkt. Jedes Betätigungselement (33) ist über angelenkte Hebel (41, 42) mit einer drehbar gelagerten Scheibe (43) gekuppelt, welche ihrerseits mit der Verstellvorrichtung (64) gekuppelt ist. Ein die Weiche (61) stumpf befahrendes Fahrzeug betätigt die Nase (35), falls diese vorsteht. Damit wird die Weiche (61) richtig umgestellt und gleichzeitig die Nase (35) des andern Betätigungselements (33) vorgeschoben. Ein problemloses stumpfes Befahren der Weiche (61) ist dadurch unabhängig von ihrer Stellung automatisch und mechanisch gewährleistet.
