摘要: The invention relates to a method for the integrated separation of one or more organic substances present in an aqueous bio-process mixture containing at least one positively charged and/or chargeable group containing nitrogen by means of reactive extraction in at least one step. According to the invention, at least one liquid-liquid centrifuge is used for said reactive extraction and the organic substances from the extraction agent are re-extracted into an aqueous phase. In particular, cells and protein are removed from the bio-process mixture that is fed to the liquid-liquid centrifuges before said mixture is fed to the first centrifuge. The invention also relates to a method of this type, whereby an aqueous bio-process mixture is continuously removed from a bio-reactor, fed, together with an extraction agent, to a liquid-liquid centrifuge, extracted by means of the extraction agent, thus obtaining an organic phase, which contains the substance to be extracted. The substance can be re-extracted in a circuit using a second liquid-liquid centrifuge, producing a concentrated aqueous solution from the extracted substance and the organic phase is returned to the first liquid-liquid centrifuge.

摘要: PCT No. PCT/SE92/00151 Sec. 371 Date Nov. 29, 1993 Sec. 102(e) Date Nov. 29, 1993 PCT Filed Mar. 11, 1992 PCT Pub. No. WO92/15597 PCT Pub. Date Sep. 17, 1992.The present invention relates to an extraction device and a method of using such an extraction device. The extraction device, includes exchangeable reaction vials (2A, 2B, 2C) and a housing (3) having at least one longitudinally arranged capillary (12) therein. A reaction vial (2A, 2B, or 2C) and housing (3) being constructed to engage and form a closed system communicating the capillary (12) with the interior of a reaction vial (2A, 2B, or 2C). The method of using the closed extraction device involved denaturing a sample containing nucleic acid in a reaction vial followed by engaging the reaction vial to the housing and centrifuging the closed unit to allow a nucleic acid-binding medium to bind the nucleic acid. Exchangeable reaction vials (2A, 2B, 2C) containing a washing buffer and a medium causing dissociation of bound nucleic acid from the nucleic acid-binding medium are sequentially exchanged with the reaction vial engaged with the housing in order to wash the bound nucleic acid, or to dissociate the nucleic acid and bring it into solution.

摘要: The present invention relates to a contactor for counter current flow of fluids comprising at least two bodies, i.e. a first body and a second body, both bodies are mounted on an axis, the second body is concentrically arranged on the axis inside a space within the first body. The contactor has one or more mixing zones (3), (3a), and (3b) in the space between the first body and the second body. The present invention relates also to a method for contacting fluids by the aid of the contactor.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for the extraction of contained materials, in particular contaminants, from liquids or solid dispersions, by means of the use of compressed extraction agents, such as for example supercritical or liquid carbon dioxide, whereby the liquid or dispersion is introduced into a pressure-resistant vessel in the form of a thin film and the surface of the thin film treated with the extraction agent, in particular carbon dioxide. The surface of the thin film is continuously regenerated over at least a part of the layer thickness of the thin film as a result of the mechanical treatment of the liquid or dispersion.
